Hiking tours in Mani
guided by Eva Lang
Spring, autumn, winter: Walking time in the Mani!
In summer at temperatures up to 40°C remains not much choice but to lie on the beach and find cooling in the waves. In fall, winter and spring the heat doesn't bother us anymore, and hiking in Mani is fun!
For more than 15 years Eva lives in the Mani and knows the ancient routes from village to village. She will take you through endless olive groves and along breathtaking gorges. Let the eyes wander over the sparkling blue sea and the impressive peaks of the Taygetos mountains. She also knows about the treasures along the way: Herbs and wild flowers, lizards, turtles and butterflies. With her, you'll see churches and chapels from the Byzantine period, before ending with a or a village kafenion stop. Depending on your mood you'll hike two to three or four to five hours together, and your dog may attend.
Eva's walking days are Tuesday and Thursday, she speaks German, English and Greek.
